In the tool packet/pouch in the spare wheel compartment in the trunk there should be a tightly folded info piece. The fuse use (lighter, lights, etc.) are listed, as well as a the corresponding location in the car. They ascend numerically.

The first compartment is located in the engine compartment.

Two others--one is located on the far left side of the of the dash (open the door and you'll see a removable panel outline) and far right of the dash panel on the passenger side.

There is a fourth, which is an absolute pain to access. You must lower the rear seat center armrest. You then have to pull out a panel, which is simply a challenge to pop out, without scratching or bending. Plus, you must be creative in the tool you use.

The primary piece of data is the fuse location sheet. Find your not working accessory and find the corresponding number. The fuse size and its location will be next to the accessory listed.

I went down this road by hit and miss. I am not a mech, but what I listed is what I experienced.

Good luck.

PS-don't be surprised it's not the fuse. It wasn't in my case......

Oddly enough my cigarette lighter doesn't work either.
We're you able to locate the faulty fuse? If so please let me know Where it's located

Thanks

When I replaced my fuse. Started the car the fuse pop. It did three times. Just wondering if anyone had the same problem? If so what is the fix for it?

Likely, there is a short in the lighter socket. These are not very expensive and are prone to having parts get bent with 12V charger power adapters. Make sure the fuse is out while you are working on it.

Cigarette lighter removal
Hi
Got the instruction for the removal of the lighter.
I will try to do this without the special pliers. Hopefully I will be able to tap into the 12VDC line.
I have a different questions.
I have purchased a copy of WIS and installed it on my iMac. The problem I have is printing anything. The listed printers do not include my model, so I am stumped. I was able to find the page you have, but not to print it. I did print your page.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

You could use it via a Virtual Windows XP(or 7) Machine with a program called VirtualBox. There is a seller on eBay that has a relatively simple setup using that method with the current WIS and EPC. Let me know if you're interested, I'll pm you a link. There are other ways but this one is, for the most part, foolproof.

I had no trouble installing WIS on my iMac. I just followed the 4 pages of instructions I received from the provider. I first had to join 8 files into one folder, from 4 disks, ...........
It worked the first time. The instruction were for Mac and PC.

Having 2 MBZs, it becomes useful to a certain degree. Virtual Box was on disk 4 and had to be download. Process complex but easy to follow.
