S550 Getting Crappy

I have the following problems on my 08 S550 with approx. 50,000 miles:

1. ABC Malfunction warning light - Relatively new; I only got this message once (yesterday)
2. PARK ASSIST Malfunction warning light - Dealer said they cannot fix this issue because they have tried twice and can't fix the Parking sensors. I still have warranty, but they say they can't keep trying to fix it if it keeps breaking
3. Rattling/Creaking Noises - The center console rattles on turns and the pano roof is making noise. The seats also make creaking noises and something up on the dash makes a noise too. VERY NOTICEABLE! Dealer claims that they "cannot replicate" the problem when I take it in for service.
4. Massage Broken - When I turn on the massage for the drivers' side, it stays on for 10 seconds, then turns off... This doesn't happen with passenger side.
5. I also recently had a spark plug replaced (engine made funky noises).
6. I had my brakes replaced less than 10,000 miles ago. They squeak like crazy.

What do you guys think? Is it time to write a letter to Mercedes? Why are all these things breaking so early? I have 100,000 mile extended warranty but dealer says that everything is normal wear and tear...

I think the dealer is BS. I would suggest trying a different dealer.

100% agree with fbracer. My dealer would fix those issues up quickly and if they couldn't get it right after a few tries, they would deal with Mercedes directly to find a solution to the issues.

+1, good advice. Under warranty, those issues should be fixed.

Wow, just goes to show how your MB Dealer respects you or not. I think you should have some very harsh words with your so-called prime Mercedes servicing dealer. You driving a car which is at its Pinnacle in the motoring world. They better have it fixed. Sorry for the language, but they taking the pi$$ with your situation.

Did they replace the sensors? If there isn't any signs of damage caused by road debris, then I would push for replacing the sensors.

2007 S600
#2 may not be a 'real' problem. The warning message appears every time a GM SUV with proximity sensors ever comes near the car. Volvo or Jaguar (can't remember which) also causes this interference. The last time I had my '07 S600 in, the trouble code list was 6 pages long! No Joke.

Regarding the S-class, I think we have to buckle in for the bumpy ride. Mine is falling apart electrically speaking at 38,000 miles. Rear A/C module failure, Front headlight module failure, O2 sensor failure. The only thing I can count on is being at the dealer every 500 miles or less. The service guy welcomes me by name! Miles between O2 sensor failure and now ABC malfunction (with pump rattle noise?) Any guesses? Answer: 248.

Unscheduled maintenance stops in the last 12,000 miles?

Answer: 8.

Only Mercedes I will ever own. NEVER AGAIN. But, good luck to you!
