Why doesn't my passenger side mirror point down in reverse?
Did the same thing here and no go?

I did not remember even the cluster menu, I have switched this off as I hardly ever park next to a curb. The user manual would explain how the level is adjusted.

If i'm not mistaken, you need to shift to R (reverse, not race)*
put the switch to the passanger mirror and adjust it to what you want. Next time it will go down to that point by it self..* Make sure to keep your foot on the brake

Parking position for the exterior mirror on the front-passenger side
Setting and storing the parking position
You can position the front-passenger side exterior mirror in such a way that you can see the rear wheel on that side as soon as you engage reverse gear. You can store this position.

Make sure that the vehicle is stationary and that the key is in position 2 in the ignition lock.

Press button
for the exterior mirror on the front-passenger side.
Engage reverse gear.
The exterior mirror on the front-passenger side moves to the preset parking position.

Use adjustment button
to adjust the exterior mirror to a position that allows you to see the rear wheel and the kerb. The parking position is stored.
If the drivers side button is pushed or the button is resting in the middle it will not work
Thanks.
I think you may have the wrong window switch.
Window switch that is from 2006 and older cars that share the same switch layout you have to go into the menu to activate this feature.
2007 and newer the programming is in the drivers windows. The caveat is LH or RH drive
