Easy-entry/exit feature Question
Hay folks,
I have S350 2007,,as you know for the Easy-entry/exit feature, the steering wheel goes up when you turn the car off, but in my old W220 S350 2003, the driver seat goes back also when you turn off the car. but its not happening in this car![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
is there anything to do with the programing or something to make the seat thing possible in this car as the old one?
OMZY

I had a similar problem in my '07 S600 in that the seat wasn't moving back.
The service guy told me it was because my seat setting is back a significant amount in the first place. Hence the test would be to move the seat forward more than you'd normally like and then see if the feature works. If not, then tell your service dept.

Did you make sure the setting in your convenient options was set so that both seats and steering wheel move?

yes I did, and found that only steering wheel is available. so am asking AGAIN if some programming might help making it possible? even if the seat option is not available in the easy-entry/exit feature?

Ahh. Now I understand. So you want to know if there is a software update that will add in a function that is not there in the existing version but exists in later model cars.
I have no idea. (sorry)

I have a new S-Class (W222) 350d - 2017 model. I have been plagued with the "Easy Entry" not working on the drivers seat after a few days of ownership. The steering column moves up OK but not the seat. I have reset everything and tried all of the ideas on the forum website. Then reading one post about the seat having to be at least 20% away from the backstop I tried changing the M1 position to a further forward position. "Bingo" - it seems the MB engineers have added another logic process in that if the seat is already well back it does not need the easy-entry mode to operate. It now transpires that my wife had reset the seat further forward on M2 but had also set M1 and then adjusted it for me (being helpful, of course). Just experiment with the memory position you need and reset it a notch forward and save it a few times until "Easy Entry" come into life. Simple!
