Thinking about putting 20s on my s550
Im thinking about putting AMG 20s on my S550. I have 19s on now. Will I lose any ride comfort with 20s vs 19s? Thanks for your input.

The good thing is that Mercedes offeres 20's from the Factory so you know it can't be a bad experience.
You will notice improved turn in and feedback from the road which makes for more confident driving at speed (for example over mountain passes).
You (having driven the car on a daily basis) might notice a subtle difference for the 1st week, but then quickly forget about it after that.. I had passengers who could not tell the difference in ride quality when I switched..

Honestly, I don't notice much of a difference. Mine has the 20's from the factory, but I've driven on the 19's plenty of times.
Just make sure you mount a tire that fits your needs and demands. For my next set of 20" tires, I will probably end up with the Continental Extreme Contact DW. I run a second set of snow tires for the winter.
Good luck.

One of my former employees tried to explain why staggered wheels on a 4Matic is a bad idea, but I don't remember. I don't feel like I'm missing anything without a staggered setup, just my opinion.
Recommend you do the research before taking the leap.

i have 20s and they don't feel harsh at all riding on 255/35/20 front and 275/35/20 in the rear. I have a 4matic. People on boards have mixed tips on this.
Generally it's discouraged but others do them anyway. Do a search and you'll see what I mean.
