Looks nice, but a carbon wing on an S class? You seem to put extreme details on your car, but that wing seems so wrong on so many levels. If I were you, I'd at least paint it black

Hey Chris,

Do you know what the additional white tipped connector is inside the drivers side mirror? There's only two contacts on the actual mirror.

It is if you have the dimming option and pay extra for that type of glass.

Chris,

I have the same connection with the wing mirrors except my dimming connection is on the left and I need that cabling (white connector) f
on the right hand side, as I have already ordered the mirror this will not work correct?

Can this be modified to the right hand side?

I have no clue. These are not made for RHD..But I think it should only be to move the cables to the other mirror and it should work just fine.

For you that installed the facelift mirrors.......

Try the memory thing firstly in the post below and let me know if it works.

I also checked all the pins now and YES there is a difference on the old and new...

If this is a solution they might have pined them all wrong and differently wrong so best way is just to pin it the way the old are and they are as this:

Blue 1 to 9 white
Blue 3 to 8 white
Blue 5 to 10 white
Blue 7 to 7 white
Blue 8 to 4 Black
Blue 6 to 9 Black
Blue 4 empty
Blue 2 to 3 Black

Here is a super strange thing...My dipping didnt work on my OEM mirror....So I tried and tried and puched the mirror buttons and the on and off option for the dipping in the comand and put car in reverse dipped the mirror and pushed the memory button 1 and suddenly all works perfectly. Seems this is something you can affect just with the buttons...So strange....

OH MY!!!!! This is sooo easy.....

Tried this again.... ALL YOU DO IS:

Put car in reverse. Now the little red LED lights up at the mirror buttons. Adjust the mirror to the possition you want it to go to everytime you put it in reverse and then just alpy park again and it goes back. Now you have dipping working.

Are you sure if I changed the pins. It's going to work? Because I don't wanna get it all mixed up and have my mirror completely stop working?

Does this only work on the left mirror? I had no idea that my car has this option, but I only got my right mirror to dip...
Okay yeah, only right side moves, just read my manual.

I really admire your ambition on changing everything!
I'm in the process of retrofitting the rollos on my R251 and it's quite a lot of work with just those parts. I can't imagine finding all of the parts for all of your conversions!

I wanted to ask, what is the part number for the Harman Kardon logos on the mirror triangles and how do they attach?

I just tried what you said, but the mirror still don't work? Every time I put the car into reverse, the mirror just move all the way up instead of down?

So this is what I did.

1)Turn on the auto dipping from the command unit.
2)Put the car into reverse
3)adjust the mirror to where I want it to tilt
4)Press "P". But then the mirror just stayed there and didn't move back up?

I have to adjust it to move back up. But when I put the car back into "R" the mirror moves all the way up again?
