Facelight LED lightlights - aftermarket?
Folks, seems everyone wants to get the new facelift headlights for the s-class..but I"m wondering if anybody would know if some aftermarket company is making them for our W221's.
For example:
http://www.carid.com/2007-mercedes-s...ts-267997.html
These are aftermarket...
And they already have plug and play taillights for the w221's led style all over ebay.
So i'm wondering if some thing will eventually come out and here is no need to spend $2000 for lights and getting the SAM's module and all that other stuff to make them work...
Any connections out there that would know?
Thanks.

i have a feeling given time they will come out and likely no need to go through hassle of SAM's module or other stuff hanging around. like you said, just like the taillights. the headlight conversion just got done by someone not long ago, few months? it will probably take a little while. from searching old threads, the taillight conversions started with oem taillights some time last year and the ebay ones came got popular not very long ago

I'd do rear but I would probably not skimp on the headlights as the aftermarket projectors might be poorly design and the beam pattern might be all whack out and would actually decrease visibility.
I can live with spending the 1500-2k for the OEM headlights but to drop 800-900 for some harness is plain crazy for me.

regarding the projectors and such, i guess it also comes down to the manufacturer and details. you'd be surprised who truly make some of these headlights and projectors.
