Can't speak for OP but I will not be doing the 65 badge. I dot like to represent something I'm not. I will keep 550 or remove it. However, what do you care if anyone uses the 65 badge or not? Don't start the AMG poser conversation. That horse is dead and has been for a while, put the stick down.
If someone asked about changing muflers to dual tip, would you have asked the same poser question? Someone wants quad exhaust on their car, who are you to say they are posing?

Sorry, didnt really mean to offend. Changing exhaust is fine. I just hate seeing the guys that actually change it all out, for the different badges and all. For the people on the road that dont know, think they just smoked a S65, it makes the cars look bad. Thats all.

If I had a 65 I'd take the badges off and let them think they just got smoked by an old mans boring 4 door sedan

s63/s65 exhaust tips
Hi, JT550 & Phatisfy,
Thank you so much for your enthusiasm answers, would u pls advs your tips is s65 or s63?
yr 2011/bumper kits which i am going to buy from member Gary who carries the same plastic type as Tuning import. i was told s65 tips is wider, so compare s63 with s65 tips which one should fit better to my bumper.
thank u again in advance.

I'm clueless to which is wider or smaller , I thought they were same size, I went to dealer I seen a s63 in showroom my tips are identical, I saw an e63 yesterday they are identical, and my friend has a cls63 and they are identical, I can only assume that the s65 is as well but I'm not sure

s63/s65 tips
Thank you very much for all of you, excellent answers.
Do you need to cut the pipe of the tips and bend them a little bit in order to line up and fit into the slots? If yes,
1. Is it difficult for muffler guys to do it? How many extra hours needed?
2. Did you do that before or after bumpers painted/installed?
Will highly appreciate any answers.

Took my guy about an hour for install, what you gotta do is cut your muffler tips so that they are straight , if you look under it curves toward the ground, then I had to cut about 2 inches off AMG tips so you got play back and forth to position tips, I have mine just barely sticking out so you can see AMG logo, you wanna watch it from about 10 ft behind so you can make sure it's straight before guy welds it, I was done less than an hour, definitely put on after bumpers painted

s63/65 tips
really appreciate your reply,
is that what you meant ? you only need to modify your original exhaust tip by cuttin 2" out since it curves, and new bought tips(from jcsportline) which do not need any modifications at all ? somebody might wrongly told me the new bought after market tips either from JC or cargim needs some modifications too,
thanks in advance. n sorry for the repeated questions
