Thanks phat. I have noticed the aftermarket kit does not have side markers. Does that effect car inspectation especially in ny state or any other state?

Not all cars have front sidemarker? So I think you'll be fine. Btw the seller has an offer for the complete kit for $2,799.99?

Nope. I had to call them. I just placed an order on the complete kit so once I get it,I can tell you how everything is.

also thanks for sharing the link to the exhaust..but i wonder why so expensive? 700+ for tips seems like highway robbery to me..
cargym i think has the same for $450.

I'm going to try and install it asap. I also ordered the AMG S63 tips, so I'll have that installed at the same time. As for having the kit painted, I'm not sure when?I'll let you know how everything is once I get it and install it.

phat are you doing to upgrade your mirrors and do a headlight led conversion as well?

The headlights and mirrors are being held off for now.

good choice...they are REALLY nice but spending $5000+ to see some LEDS on your headlights doesn't seem to a good bang for the buck..unless of course you have some disposable income

I think some company will make replicas anytime soon now. I've been searching all over for a yr now,and with patients I finally found a good replica S63 kit. There were replicas all over,but it was all made from fiberglass. Which I did not like.

i think so too but wasn't sure. because reading the ebay link, they say for 07-09 new grille is needed. didn't mention anything about the lining. so i was just curious if they did modification to the bumper to fit with the lining, or it's still required. just a thought

Ok,I got the kit in today and quality-wise looks good. I'll try and get them installed this weekend if possible.

Hi Phat,

I was told that these are european spec bumpers thus no side markers. Do you know anything about the side markers? I want to get this bumper and install the white aftermarket side markers..do you know if the side markers on the s63 are just a simple or it's more complicated to install?

I think even when you buy the bumper here in the states from the dealer, you have to cut them out if you want to keep the side markers.
