2008 S550 front brake/rotors change please help !!!

Hello guys, could anyone help me, I had 2008 s550, last weekend my friend help me change the rotors (bought from dealer) and brake pad (auto zone) due to brake making noise. After that the car won't accelerate like before , I suspect the pad touching the rotors. I touch the front rotors after driving about 5 min then stop, it is extremely hot, but the back rotors (not changing ) is cold. He told me he did everything right according to his knowledge. Please help me, what should I do?
Is this car has SBC? do I need to reactivate something??
Thank you so much for your time. I been getting a lot of help from this forum, love you all!!

jack up the car and see if you can spin the front wheel freely. it should. even if you have the "hold" function on, once you hit the gas, the "hold" should release. done many brakes before but never seen one rubs after. about the front brake heats up, i think the front brakes are used first and carry most of the weight. aren't they the larger ones?

changing brake pads are very basic and nothing to avoid with as long as you use the proper and safe way of changing the pads, making sure that the rotor disc are also in good condition otherwise make the necessary refurbishment (not repair).

No such thing, if it was a wrong type of pad it would not even fit.

a bad rotor disk would not cause this problem

I would put factory pads and have it checked by a qualified tech. Go cheap elsewhere besides your safety systems. He should have tested this before giving you the keys. No the car does not have SBC was discontinued after the issues in the W211.

a stuck piston (or whatever it's called) would cause it to rub. can't imagine both side are stuck though. again, jack it up and spin it. maybe everything is fine and it's just that extra $500 you saved burning a hole in your pocket.

oh, you can also have someone stand beside your car and look at the brake while you roll forward slowly. you "might" be able to see if it's rubbing.

Thank you so much for all the advices. He remove the tires recheck everything (nothing wrong) put it back. This time I remove the keyless go button, pump the brake like 20 times then turn on engine then off, do this 2 times (got this advice from other forum) then test drive. Everything okie now. So the main thing is pump the brake after finished changing the pad to get all the air out.
P.S. if your car have SBC then you have to disconnect 2 battery before changing pad. Hope this will help someone... so you don't have to go to this scare and worry like me

i dont' think there is air in your brake lines. at least i hope you don't have air in it you suppose to pump the brake right after you install it to "set" it (push the piston) back but as soon as you turn on the engine, the piston should release until you step on the brake again. it's hydrolic assisted electonically. no matter, good thing is that it drives fine now
