Congratulations on the triple Iridium with Black combo!!
Amazing, great that it all worked out as you have wanted!
Misschien nog eens tot ziens; ik ben regelmatig in Brussel bij Justus Lipsius ;-)

Like in your W221 project but with B&O doorpanels. : https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...ml#post5284900
Consider to go to upholsterer if I can't find it. First I ll take on my R231 project next month.

On a CLA:
On an S you also have the remote (start heater from inside the house on a cold or hot day) , also set timer and check inside temperature on remote.
On S the heater Will start automatically to help the standaard heating or airco and Will automatically het the oil on cold Days.
PS: I also have this option on my E, W211.

On the tweets:
"The white LED light of the four tweeter units in the mirror triangle as well as in the B-pillar is adjusted to match the color from the instrument panel. It automatically switches to day or night mode based on the ambient light, which is detected by a sensor in the rear view mirror. On system start-up the light smoothly fades in to the required level."

So, if one added just the front tweets to a S550, they will star bright all the time? It's missing the sensor in the mirror?

Depends on where you conect them. Or if it is a facelift car or not. I you add them to a old W221 you will only have one color. If you add them to a facelift car you will have all colors.

If you look closely at the BO tweeters you have a conventional off the shelf silk dome tweeter very similar to what you have now. Where yours is mounted vertically with the dome facing outward from the sail panel at you, the BO is mounted horizontally (which would have it fire at the ceiling, not desirable). To prevent this, it fires up at a little cone shaped diffuser that's supposed to cause the sound to spread out evenly in a 180 degree radius. BO calls it an Acoustic Lense.
In reality there's no such thing as an "acoustic lense" just like there's no need for illumination in a speaker. Think of it all mostly as eye candy...something tangible to show for the extra $6400 the BO upgrade cost...rather than a radically better sounding tweeter.
