I'm buying a used 2008 S550 with 27k miles that qualifies for a 5 year/100,000 mile Extended Warranty. How much does this normally cost?

If Im not mistaken I think they gave me a option to buy the warranty when I first bought the car for $2200.

Check with Rich Carlson at Mercedes Benz of Georgetown, Texas. I got the Benz warranty for 3 more years/75k miles for a bit over 3 something. Your car still has to have the factory warranty to qualify.

You may be able to get an extended warranty that costs less through Mercury Insurance Group. You can quote your vehicle at www.extended-vehicle-warranty.com and also download sample contracts to review coverage. It's worth checking out, anyway.
