I don't think it is the photo that "tells them" when it is going to be introduced. It may have to do with the fact that the authors who wrote the piece have some connections since they write for a car blog. Kind of like my low end connection with my dealer who's owner was in California for an intro to the S class last month

The current model 221 looks great too, but I think they're going a bit overboard making everything look like the new CLS. For example, the new 2013 E class makeover (to me) looks like crap. Putting a sports grill on a 4 door just looks weird when it's not sporty (yeah I know it's optional). But removing the dual light signature touch of the E class, yuck. Seems there are still two lights outlined by LEDs, but that just looks like an Audi
I guess I'll reserve judgment for when it comes out. Whatever the case is, it won't be ugly, I just wish they pulled more influence from older models

the w220 isnt anything to write home about, its worse than the w221
