My New Wheels

Guys and Gals, I finally got me a set of new wheels. I unfortunately could not afford a set of Brabus Monoblok R I really wanted. So guys at Auto Art (the place we just had a meet at) helped me chose these and i think I they are a decent looking alternative.
Rohanas RC10 20inch in silver with chrome lip. I figured it will blend well with the existing trim of the car. Wrapped in Conti DSW 255 front and 285 in rear.
What do you think?

Yeah, thought about it but the ride is already harsh is S mode. Its like driving a BMW
Besides, had bad encounters before on Chicago roads, so don't want to risk it too much.
i think lowering the car a tad would help with the look.

Mahalhor,

Lower your car, your wheels will look larger. I have 20's and before the drop the wheels looked puny...dropping it made a big difference in the entire appearance of the car and the wheels..

Here are my 20's..

+1 for lowering. You'll get a way better appearance with 20's. Nice wheels.

Is it true that on the S class you can control the height individually for S and C?

Make sure you get a wheel alignment once you lower the car, if you want to get the most life out of your tires.

The S (sport) and C (Comfort) just change the ride quality from soft to stiff, when on S mode the car will automatically lower when you hit highway speeds. I wish you could save 2 different ride heights into these settings.

Good luck!

SDS ( star dynosgtic system) vs STAR = same system
My guy entered 30mm front and 35mm rear as lowered value.
I believe it's 28.5" over all heigh F + R.
All GREEN lights on the alignment machine.
I had them done on " C " Mode.
No problems for 5k miles now

So i was getting my steering rack replaced at Speedriven and had them lower the car 20mm.
Didn't want to go too crazy. i'm not a fan of slammed. i wanted just a little drop to get nice even gap all the way around the wheel. Its barely noticeable when you look at it but it makes for a decent stance. I noticed that car does handle a touch better. Not as boaty around the corners. And since i have a strut brace it helps even more.
Two things i noticed that are negative in my opinion:
1. Road noise increased. Since tires are just a touch tilted compare to stock height, it rides on side ribs a touch and generates more noise. Most people wont notice but im very keen on cars and notice every darn stupid thing.
2. I could be paranoid, but i think it got a little bouncy. At times it feels like it doesn't dampen as well as it used to. But since i'm hopping to upgrade to a CL600 soon, i'll just enjoy it as is and wont change. Here are couple pics. Enjoy.

Update: After removing strut tower brace, the ride soften up and no bouncy feeling. Unfortunately it doesnt handle as well anymore.
Oh well, comfort over performance for me.
