How do you stop the suspension from going back down?
Sounds like a silly question.
Here is my scenario:
So I lowered my car using links. Car looks great...tires wear fast in the inside! So I have to replace tires which I ordered already to be installed.
So prevent this after the new tires are installed, I want to raise the suspension button on the highway, which pretty much brings me back to stock height.
Problem is that after going 60MPH for like 5 minutes, it lowers the vechicle back to the lowered position.
How do I prevent the suspension from going back down? Highway speeds overrride it. I know the car does this due to drag coefficient reasons.
Anyway I can change this from happening??
Thanks

By the way, I know that the lomo lowering module will fix all of this but I'm trying not to go that route if i don't have to. It's a $1500 option and new tires cost me less then 500 for all four.
thanks.
thanks.

500 for all 4? what kind of tires are you using? im on 20 inch rims and they are 200 a pop.
the raise function is meant for deep snow or mud or what ever you happen to be in. if you are traveling at 40+ mph there is no way you are in something deep that required the car to be raised, thus it lowers for stability and safety reasons. i have not heard that it can be changed.
Im taking my car to a shop to get exhaust work done and they have star. i'll see if they can lower my car and tell me what other settings are possible.

They r off ebay but i dont see anymore. They atr a chinese brand but its only gonna be used for summer for around town so i decided to give it a shot. I will provide feeedback later. If u want them i can text the seller.
Marthyh does the c mode really raise it? I have mixed feedback on this setting.

275/35/20 - two of them for 220 shipped
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-NEW-275-35ZR20-ALL-SEASON-TIRES-275-35R20-275-35-20-/380707520028?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Tires&hash=item58a3efbe1c&vxp=mtr
Then you need to ask him about 255/35/20 seperately which he can get you for like 200 for 2 shipped - free shipping.
so do the math and it's like 420 for all 4 tires! HIs name is John and he's cool..very helpful...good luck!

Cheers,I was not even aware that there is a slight drop in 'S' mode ..;-)
This gives hope that it would be possible altering ride height only using the 'SCM'- button ( btw mine is pre- facelift so only one button for suspension and transmission).

Your tire wear is being caused because the links you installed changed the geometry of the suspension. A custom alignment might help, but, if your camber has been changed to the point that you are getting inside wear, you will need expert help to rectify or minimize the effects.
