Those of you that own a w221.. Do you like the exterior better than the w222?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I seen a S63 black pull up next to me at a light and it was looking good. Now I think we all love our w221 as it is a car that REPS! no matter where you pull up...If anyone can afford to spend the money on the 222 well Im sure they can make it hot. As for me I will stay on this Forum because I love my 221 and frankly I love the Fenders it looks aggressive and sits pretty. Im going to start a thread about what is your favorite thing about your 221. Im sure there are some features that some of us don't even know we have...For example and don't think I am crazy, I never had SAT radio so I never even attempted to use it. I got in the car the other day and it was playing, I asked my wife did she subscribe to it for me, she said no but I always listen to it....I have had the car 1 yr this month and I just now know I have SAT Radio
...I guess the old owner could still be paying for it lol....Sorry to get off topic...

I also think the the way the rear bumper on the 222 meets the body looks weird from the side...I prefer the straight line on the 221 which IMO makes the car look longer.
And don't get me started in the interior...It's not as bad as the new CLA with the screen sort of stuck on the dash like an afterthought but after sitting inside a few 222s that smiley face steering wheel certainly hasn't grown on me.
I'm nearly there now, and might get one soon.
The 222 seems easier to like, but the interior is another thing.
Too fussy. I saw a 222 at my dealer recently, and it screamed "221 facelift" to me.
The 222 radiator grille seems disproportionately large, though.

So many aspects of the video had me ROTF... Guy did one helahva job going over every detail of the W222, but they couldn't get rid of him fast enough. I think I heard someone in the background say, "Someone give that Effin guy a test drive so he can get the hell outta here". I like how the sales guys was like, "Look Fela.. I gotta go scratch my a$$ in 15 minutes, so lets drive around the block so you can stop wasting my time.."
Funny as hell.. Had to watch it 2 more times...
It's like a W221 that stopped going to the gym.
And the clown face steering wheel does me in.
WARNING: Once you see it you will never be able to unsee it.

It's taken me several months to really start to appreciate the 221. I knew I was there when I had it in for service and the dealer had a 220 on the lot. I sat down and thought "Holy crap, this thing looks dated".
As far as the 222's interior, it's pretty nice and it does make the 221's look relatively cheap and unsophisticated. I think they missed the mark with the digital dash. Typically manufacturers will integrate the screen into a normal, ovoid shaped gauge pod. I've never seen anyone celebrate the squareness of a display quite like the 222.
The new 2012 -on SL is simply aweful looking, few years already and still couldn't pick up the "feel".
The new CLS is never seen as fashion statement as the previous one
The rear of the new S no longer looks commanding. And by the time the new C comes out, it would look identical !!!
