Beautiful S550. Can you share the specs on the wheels and tires. E.T. and tire size seem about perfect for the W221.

Yeah, it looks good. I normally don't like the look of 22's but those work.

Impressive , nice looking S..rims are insane crazy nice , but why the space between the muffler tips and the bumper .
thanks!
I'm actually going back to the muffler shop first thing tomorrow morning to have them completely removed.
i ask them to start the car without mufflers when i was swapping them out,
it was actually not that loud surprisingly!
But, i might put them back who knows.
but yeah that gap will be taken cared tomorrow!
(btw, did you get the bumper that i sent you? i tried my best to box it up using the ones i got from these. haha)
also, lmk if you want the rear as well. i will sell it to you for VERY VERY CHEAP that you just pay for shipping and my gas hahaha

Have you considered having the chrome trim and grille vinyl wrapped black? Might make it look even more sinister.

I am going to try plastidip some parts this weekend, and if it looks like crap, have them wrapped in gloss black.

Yeah, I tied Plastdip on the chrome bits on the doors and decklid. Looked very good while it lasted but started peeling away. I think a wrap is the way to go.Originally Posted by aznevoviii

Good to know!
Funny my wife's emblems were all dipped by me, its holding well!
I might dip the emblems as well, as i really dont want to be the "fake AMG emblem or dedaged tricking people" club if u know what i mean... Haha
also, on the side note, make sure to coat them more than 5 times in 15 mins apart.
I did that to my friend's e60 front kidney grills, about two years ago,
it still looks like the day i sprayed it, and not even a single rock chip!!

Had some plastidip fun today!!
Also removed "fuel efficiency" emblems (bc it is not), and add "V8 BITURBO" emblem (be it is)! Haha
And i am wrapping the trunk center chrome piece as well as the side and window trim this weekend with glossblack!
Result was amazing!

And my wife's CLA45 AMG with BBS wheels!!

Love the black emblems and grille. How did you do the emblems? Do they need to come off the car or be masked or what?
How about a hood star delete for yours? Might complete the "don't F with me" look of the rest of the car.

Hey, thats whats up! Hahah
But i actually prefer the hood star, because it is the trademark of our s class sedan!
But for the emblem.
All you need to do it mask them rectangular like an inch around, so you actually spray on top of paint. plastidip them (5+ coats), and start from the corner, it will peel off like its a decal! All you need to worry about if the inside 0 from 550, i used toothpick.

Looks good, What links did you go with? Did you have any rubbing with your ride height? I m ordering some links from a shop in Tampa and putting on some 22s soon and I wanted to have a look like yours.
their links will work just fine.
i went all the way low on the rear, and match the fronts. (1 link rear + 2 links front).
I did have the notorious rear fender/bumper joint tabs shaved, and mild roll on the fenders front and rear (nothing crazy roll + pull).
the guy came to my house and took his time to roll + shave for $120 and took him a good 3~4 hours to do the job. extremely happy, if you are in Orlando/Tampa/daytona area, let me know. he travels.
