Anyone ever changed their ambient lighting on their 221?

My car has no option for interior ambient light and I want to retrofit for ít. I have purchased wood trim for 04 doors and instrument panel with ambient light equipped. Perhaps retrofit interior ambient light for 04 doors shoudn't be any problem for me because I know the pins on door control module supply power for ambient light, however I don't know how the interior ambient light on instrument panel is powered? do you know where the below ambient light connector need to be connected in order to get it powered?

I successfully completed retrofit interior ambient light for my car, below is the detail
You need to open command wwith DAS/Xentry then activate ambient interior lights under Development Data
Once option activated then you will have a menu on command to control ambient light
Retrofit ambient light for instrument cluster is quite straight forward, the ambient light connector is connected to AC control module for power.
This is the connector connect door control module to door panel, they supply power for ambient interior light wwith pin 7&8 (my car has no ambient interior light then this connector supply a power for tiny led at door handle)
Here the test led I connect to door control module to verify power supply
This is a tinny Led on door handle, wiring is connect to pin 7&8 of door control module then for ambient light at the door, o just soldering interior led light to these cable.
This is a connector of the ambient led light on the wood trim of the door, since I have no connector then I used ribbon cable as connector and the other end of ribbon cable I soldering it parallel on the tinny led as mentioned above
Here the result, it's amazing
On the handle hole, you see a tinny led light up, it's the led I mentioned earlier
Beautiful.

Help
i have a 2010 s class and am having these issues, what led light kit did you use? And do you have link to how you did?
On my 2010 S550, it supposed to have 3 colors but really only 2 noticeable difference. I checked what lights up the plastic bars and there are 2 tiny leds, one is blue and the other is kind of amber. It's one color or the other or mixed. I didn't really like the color so I added my own leds and now my new colors are red, blue, and purple. The colors are much cleaner and brighter than stock. The comand operates and dims the new lights. I have also added a module to further the color options and use. I can do any color choices and have it also do patterns and go with the music if wanted. The big thing is now I can choose a much better color option. In fact the choices are far better than the new S class with limited color range.
