Am I the only person who prefers the pre-facelift tail lights and mirrors? The original tail lights were somewhat unique, and I've always thought the new ones looked generic, and could just as easily be found on a Ford sedan.
As for the mirrors, I think the more rounded shape of the originals fits the car better, and the "two fingers" turn signals on the facelift version looks a little too sporty and C-Class in my eyes

And I Think the old ones look just"OLD" and like all others...And the new mirrors fits the more "square" look of the front and grill. But most importent is that you are happy with it.

I used to really like those taillights and still do, but the LED are a must if you want the car to look like a newer/current model with that jeweled crystal look.
I like the new mirrors much better and think they go with the face lifted models better. Also, the squared mirrors have more surface area, so it's more of a functional upgrade as well.

I agree with Justin about the mirrors. I think they look much better and more aerodynamic on the pre-face-lifted cars. The turn lamps in the mirrors of the face-lifted cars look odd at best and the shape seems too bulky.
The face-lifted tail lights on the other hand look better than the older style IMO.

[QUOTE=Jason B;6371471]Many have said the old tails remind them of the older mustangs, and old school look:
Oh boy I wish you hadn't shown me that picture. Where can I get a set of facelift taillights?

2008 Mercedes S550, 2007 Mercedes ML350 4Matic,
Looks so good! Im wanting to do the exact same. The drawback for me is that I have Night View Assist so the night vision projectors are the inside lenses of the headlight assemblies on cars with this option. So upgrading to the newer headlights would mean either giving up my Night View or spending $1500 per side for night vision headlight assembly. The front bumper looks so great though! That and the LED tail lamps and the square mirrors and you're set mate!
