Anything I'm overlooking here
Car looks to be in nice shape and I like the color combo.
Would take my SDS down when I look at it and would get a PPI but looks like a good car and the seller had a good reputation here (Bruce Mandel at Becks Imports).
seems like a good value and I might be ready to make a move.

Seems clean and priced right. I would take the vin to a Benz dealer and run it in the service record system and make sure no red flags on service. If it drives well it's hard not to strongly consider this one

Needs a warranty. It's beautiful, appears well maintained and the mileage is low, but none of that or even a clean service history is protection. Dave here on the forum has a 600 and got a 7/75 top tier $100 exclusionary plan for $3300. It sounds a little too cheap to me for a 221 in general and especially for a 600 but he swears by the company and had an M5 with them previously.
He can't resist a thread about a 600 so he should be along here any minute...

beautiful except for the front seats. Not sure what's up with the cellulite look to them. Better ge a warranty regardless of what you buy.

Very attractive marketing and sales pitch.
But at the end, still sold "as is..where is". if confident about the car as they seem, Why don't they take a chance and offer a warranty on it.
Albeit the ad has all the sweet lingo that would attract a bear to honey, its still a 7yr old V12 S-Class Mercedes....things WILL go wrong. Thats the nature of the S-Class. Look at all the things they have repaired during warranty that are not maintenance parts.
I say all that to say this...car is very clean and sales pitch is attractive. But don't get sucked in by that. Get a PPI inspection as planned and complement it with a nice third party warranty. And all will be well. Nice car. Over the top clean and loaded....Didn't even know blind spot assist was an option in 08.

Bruce Mendell is selling the car, so I'm sure he'll offer a warranty on it. But the buyer can get a much better priced comparable warranty if his bank or local credit union offers the coverage.
Regarding the list of repaired items, Bruce is pointing out that many of the items that have a history of failure on these cars have already been replaced. Noting this up front is important to people who know the V12 TT motor and is actually a valid selling point. Blind spot assist became available during the 2008 model year in the 600.

There is one S600 in everest green I saw posted here in CA. Looks great and is $37k. Mileage was like 63k I think. I also saw one as low as $25k but was for sale at one of those back street dealers so ya might not be in good shape.
