I didn't realize you weren't aware that "sausage" is also a common slang term for "*****". So like when you and Mrs. ATCPUP are out socially, and someone offers you guys something to eat, you would want to avoid saying things like, "No thanks. I pretty much stuffed her with sausage a few hours ago!" or if someone offers her a sausage tell her not to say anything like "I don't think I could swallow another sausage!", even if its true. Folks who don't grasp your strict literal sense of language might get the wrong idea.

I've only been reading this thread because it has enough traffic to be on the home page, but this nearly made me spit my wine on the screen.
And I totally agree about forums going down hill as the cars get older. W209 CLKs date back to 2002 and 6-cylinder coupes scan be had for well under $10,000, and I see posts like "yeah, that one is nicer, but my bank will only finance a car up to 10 years old." And I'm thinking "your financial situation is such that you have to finance $10,000 and you are buying a Mercedes!?!?"

I do appreciate you throwing my 75 year old mom a mercy-bone. She's been so depressed since the stroke. Today on her Facebook page she said "Had a little sausage last nite" and I thought she was talking about what they were serving in the nursing home.

Mike is likely confusing me with Atc, who I've heard has a reputation for hiding out in dark and seedy places...with his favorite watering hole being a place called "The Man Hole". He may say that he only hangs out there for the world renowned chicken wings and beer, but I have a feeling that there's more to this story. Stones and glass houses here people.

This thread has shown me that the newer S550's must be purchased going through the MERCEDES BENZ CERTIFIED PRE OWNED network. In which I intend to follow when my time comes for purchasing. Or, you should have loads of money to poor into the vehicle when you have any issues thus understanding that it's required maintenance.
