is this where my leak could be coming from?
So I recently changed out the plugs that are prone to oil leak in the back of the engine. All three and it seems like there is no leak there anymore. But I'm still getting the smell of burnt oil and I still see burn oil on the passenger side catalytic converter. What is this part on the passenger side of the engine that is right next to the plug I replaced. It seems like it might be leaking from here. Is this the pcv unit? The hose ends up going into the the throttle body tube it seems.

As it concerns the leak at the very least you will need to replace housing cover & centrifuge. Here are the individual part #s in the order they are shown in ECS kit link above to comparison shop. Note EPC shows all parts installed at production with the exception of bolts are replaced which may indicate modification.
* centrifuge 2730100162
* housing cover 2720100631
- oil separator 2730160134
- housing cover bolts 000000001478
- centrifuge bolt 000000003495
- bleed hose 2730180582
Replacement of all parts simply requires removing air filter housing, as mentioned here http://workshop-manuals.com/mercedes...ce_and_repair/
