Just had the wind shield replaced on my 2007 s550, the one they put in has screen like thing in the middle of it down on the bottom near the dash, my old windshield didn't have this. The car does have night vision, I would have noticed this on the old windshield, has anyone else had this happen to them

I believe that is the cut out for a radar detector.

Might also be the cutout for a FasTrac toll paying device. I recall that being discussed in the owner's manual, but I don't remember the location they were referring to.

Possibly you did not notice second area on original.

Not the case, it wasn't there before, I notice everything. My night vision works fine, really all I was worried about. I called the dealership and asked, they had no clue.

Sorry just opened the attachment, that's got to be what it is. Think what happen here was this is the 2nd windsheild put in this car thinking the one previous didn't have it. Thank you
