Well, it came...
Exactly! And your feet never slide around when they're wet. I thought I'd only use the mats for winter, but now I think I'll just leave them in year round. Easy cleaning too....just take them out and hose them off.

Until I get mine, these are photos found online. I am showing beige so you can see the shape more easily.
BTW, the dealer's foreman is out until Wed, so the car won't go in for vibration until Wed.
The rubberized version. My GF has them in her SUV, the surface is pleasant and more refined, unlike the typical rubber mats.
These are the carpeted versions. From what I can tell, it's the same mould/shape, just that the top layer is carpet.

Has anyone else seen this problem with their car? It's not obvious unless you have a good look at it. I would think that there are other cars with the same issue. Or, am I the lucky one with the unicorn car but with all the issues?

Snovv, thats unusual that they would tear. Maybe a hamfisted technician?
I am going to ask them to check the cold-start noise once more because I still hear some noise during cold-starts. According to the paperwork, they installed anti-drainback valves per some TSB. It is designed to keep oil in the top cylinder area. I'll post the number later.
Maybe... The material seems weak and brittle in my hand. It feels like it can easily tear if installed/removed multiple times.
I'm 6' with longer legs than torso, when I sit and allow my knee to relax to the left, it *can* touch the bracket if I have the seat more forward.
Notice the actual holder has standard bolt patterns, so you can install it without the swivel. With the included bracket, though, the holder would interfere with the media door.
This photo, too, is upside down, but you can see the maximum range of adjustment. You might be able to fit a 7" tab in it. The feet can rotate out and the side support move up and down
Adjusted for my Note Edge. Notice I have to adjust the swivel so that the corner of the Note Edge does not interfere with the cup holder flap
A smaller phone like the S3 allows the bracket to sit in the ideal orientation.
Leave your phone in your pocket or briefcase and drive on full alert for a change. With all of the morons who are distracted by texting, searching for songs or other items on their phone, and have their heads in the clouds while driving and causing accidents and deaths of innocent people, it's enough of a challenge to avoid these idiots and save our own lives by driving at full attention. Don't be part of the problem.

I use mine as my primary music player via Bluetooth Audio so it's nice to have direct control. In that form it's no more a dangerous distraction than any other button or control system in the car. It's also kind of tough to charge your phone while its in your briefcase.
