I have recently got my wide of the car blacked out (window trim and door moldings) with gloss black wrap,
But the installer did not recommend blacking out the door handles because of the everyday usage.

Has anyone blacked out their door handles as well? How well do they hold?

He could put tinted film on the tails and headlights.....those are probably the last things he could do.

I came across these photos when I was looking for wheels. BTW, I hate the front lip on this. I do however want the Brabus carbon fiber front lip if I could find it at a reasonable price.

I might slightly tint the tails, but i like the contrast of the red.
It actually matches my candy red calipers.

Thats other black w221's door handles look black. Interesting.

Maybe you can just go for these tail lights instead.
Simple and the contrast still remains.

No they are complete aftermarket units by Depo.

However that means these won't fit your car directly - these are made for the pre-facelift.

Should be easy to mod though I guess. Probably just rearrange a few wires?

those are just the smoked version...should be plug n play

As far as I know the facelift has different wiring.

Ahh i see. I can get it tinted by my tinter (confirmed) he will do it at no cost! Haha so we shall see how it goes!

Just my opinion but I wouldn't tint the red part, mabye just a slight tinge of dark red to not make it such "bright" red but no black smoked tails, that's not really cool anymore. What's cool is that last pic of the smoked white/clear spots, that looks really sharp.

I should have my black wheels installed letter this week when I get a chance.

The roof is wet from air moisture in some of the pics but you get the idea...

Thanks for posting specs. Does anyone know what 10 spoke wheels the s550 has in the first 3 images. I'm actually looking at a black 2011 or 2012 s63 amg. Might be getting it in a month or 2 and deciding to go with 5 spoke or 10 spoke wheels.
