Just installed the ghost lowering links!

I just completed the install of the ghost lowering links on my s63. The install only took about 15 minutes and took another 15 minutes to adjust the height to my liking.

Nice. If you've settled on that as your ride height, get a 4 wheel alignment done. Otherwise the camber on the fronts will be off and you'll chew up tires.

Good ride height. Looks very nice!

Definitely get that alignment. Tell them not to adjust the ride height when you get it done.

Links are around $400 and you can install them in your driveway (if you have a floor jack) without tools. They snap on and off. Really ingenious product. The rear is kind of a pain to get to (over the rear diff).

I didn't notice a change in the ride quality whatsoever.

The rear was definitely a pain to get off. The ghost links are so much easier to take on and off.

Yeah, there's a sweet spot where the car clearly looks lowered but enough air remains in the struts so ride isn't markedly affected. Past that point the ride starts getting exponentially rougher. Dropping to the point where there's still a gap between the top of the tire and the fender lip like you did looks good and preserves the ride.

One question...isn't the S63 an ABC suspension rather than Airmatic? Links require an air suspension, don't they?

S63 is ABC but it links down the same way as air.

Ok. I guess all they need is a ride height sensor to "trick" to work.

Where is a good place to get the links? I think I want to lower the 600 as long as the ride remains pretty good.

Edit: Nevermind, found them. http://www.ghostmotorsports.com/ghos...class-abc.html
