im getting this "whoosh" with a slight squeak noise. I get it while braking mostly but have heard it while driving and after parking the car. sounds like the airmatic is releasing air along with a rubbery squeal.


This is not the regular noise that one gets when parking the car and closing the door. This sound is completely different and new to me.

 

Are you getting any error codes?

I bought a 2013 CPO car just 2 months ago and the same thing happens to me the majority of time after I park it. You can hear the air releasing, but I figured it was normal...........

 

I get the same noise after I park with my 2013 S550.

 

Believe it's normal. I get the same in mine. Minus the squeak.

 

I believe everyone should reread the original post, this is not normal. This is happeneing while the car is being driven, not after it is parked.

Zerocarpileup have you consulted a dealer service advisor or taken the car in yet for a diagnosis?

 

As I mentioned, this is not that noise of the air being released after parking. This an entirly new sound that only started recently. It almost sounds like something rubbing against the tire or something. But like I said, I've heard it while driving and parked. Definitely airmatic related.

I have not made it out to the dealer yet. I think I might have to as internet searches have not been able to assist.

 

may have a leak in the bag ..aka a tear.
