I am in the process of going an s63 conversion to my 2010 s550. I have purchased the quad exhaust and want to make the exhaust more aggressive to match the overall cars look.

Can someone tell me the difference in noise between muffler delete and res delete?

What can I expect with each one.

I have a 2010 S550. You're not going to like a muffler delete (the 2010 has two enormous mufflers and no resonators). It's absurdly loud. I did a Becker aftermarket quad exhaust and THAT was also obnoxiously loud. However, when we added a set of 18" glass pack resonators it was perfect.

There's a thread here about the Becker kit and I put pics and sound clips on there. Here's my car, stock AMG rear bumper with an S63 diffuser and the Becker kit. The Becker comes with the stainless ovoid tips. It's technically a dual exhaust since each quad tip shares a single exhaust outlet.

Hey AJ09, I made a recent video covering the muffler delete and video footage of the sound. I also took off the electronic valves and had no issues afterwards.
