How rare are white S550 Amg's with black interior?
Every time I look on ebay, it's super rare to find a white S550 with Amg package and black interior. Is there a way to get a list of how many white S550's had black interior. Just wondering...
Given the overwhelming prevalence of the Diamond White/Peanut Butter combo I have to believe that was the default interior for Diamond White cars ordered into general dealer inventory. If you see a Charcoal (Black) or Ash (Gray) interior on a Diamond White it was likely a customer ordered car.
I did drive a 2010 Diamond White/Charcoal before I bought my black one, but it didn't have the Pano roof. Looking back, I could have just had the roof wrapped in gloss black and gotten the look I was going for. Maybe next time...
And not always in a good way. Aside from Porcelin they all look weird to me. Like chocolate brown and black, or that orange looking one, or that butterscotch. When I'm on AutoTrader looking at cars and one of those Designo 221s come up I can't hit the"back" button fast enough. But Porcelin with Piano Black trim, I'd love that one.
ive never seen one in person. but the white with designo interior is sick. if i even knew they came that way when i bought my car i would of waited until i found one.
I've had exactly 1 white car and will never own another one again. They are way to feminine or grandpa looking to me and most other folks. The only advantage that I can see to white (or silver for that matter) is that they stay cleaner looking. The S-class is meant to be a black car and looks best in that color, bar none. All large luxury cars look best in black, including BMW, Audi, Lexus, etc. There's just something stately and imposing about the color black on a large car.
I find it interesting that black is the hardest exterior color to keep looking clean, yet is the easiest interior color to keep looking clean and shows the least wear.

i disagree on that. yes black looks good on any big body luxury car. but ive seen some pretty bad *** white, silver, grey ones as well. if i had a choice again i would go white with black interior.
Everyone that loves a black interior in a Mercedes always likes the Porcelin, but everyone I've talked to says jeans rub off on the leather and the seats are a pain to keep looking nice.,

I watch auction prices a lot. Blacks, Whites, Silvers go for same price but it's the "non desirable" colors go for significantly less. With Green hues the worst

That's likely because your doctor drives a white car and was intimidated by your black car and *****. So he nicked you to even the score.
