Annoying Ticking Analog Clock of 2007 S350

I have a 2007 S350 and the analog clock is making this annoying sound (the minute is trying to move forward but it is stuck on the 25th minute mark) after replacing both of the car batteries. The clock has not been working properly since a while ago, but never make this annoying sound before. Any advice on how to stop it? Greatly appreciate your help.

That's the one solution that I'm not willing to take, because they charge too much for a replacement, close to 600US$ here in Indonesia. Is there a way to open the clock/AC console and somehow disable the clock manually (like plugging out the cable)?

Seriously ??

I would just put in another Motörhead or Raven cd and call it a day..
Might not be sync to 60 bpm though..

Have you searched the internet for a replacement or repair facility?

Several years ago I had an old inoperable analog automobile clock. I removed it and took it to the local watch repair shop. I got it back in like new shape. The owner told me the movement was very simple and could have been fixed by a journeyman.

Or you could, remove the console cover and just unplug it. Or remove the fuse if there is one.

You know, that is actually a good initial solution, as it if they can repair it, that much more efficient cost wise.
