Hello, I own a 2007 S550 with the stock rims 255/45/18. I am currently looking at a set of AMG rims that came off an S-class. I'm guessing W220. With tires 275/40 ZR 18. Will they fit?? I don't have much experience with tires/rims. 😂
I have attached a link to the rims I am interested with the tires. Thank you!

They will fit. They're from an 04-06 S Class AMG Sport. They've been chromed. Not sure how they'd look on a 221, probably a little chunky.Originally Posted by jplesca

In my opinion 18" rims are just too small for the W221. I would look for a nice set of 19" wheels. I purchased an awesome set of 19" 20 spoke factory wheels up in Vancouver for about 900 cash American. The wheels you reference are going to look funny on your car as they look older than the car. If you are going to spend the money on wheels I would spend a little more and get replica AMG set or a take off set of 19" wheels.

This is the set I purchased. Gave 900USD for them. I think it is the same seller.

Do an EBay search for AMG Style Wheel. Any wheel with a 45mm offset is essentially a stock fit. 35mm work as well although the wheel will be brought out toward the fender lip a bit. Most owners prefer the look of the 35mm wheels.Originally Posted by xpl0sive

Aside from offset and rim width all wheels made for any Mercedes passenger vehicle share identical specs ( bolt pattern, hub bore ) so you'll have a lot to choose from.
19" is as small as I'd go on a 221, with 20" being my optimal choice.

Ah ya I saw those. He is asking $1750 CAD for them... They are non-sport wheels. My car has the AMG sport package, so I'd like to get an AMG wheel. Will probably go with a 20" AMG replica off ebay... If I keep the car long enough. It was supposed to be sold already, too many tire kickers on craigslistOriginally Posted by superpop
