2007 Mercedes S550 W221 Misfiring Cylinder 5,6,7,8 Injector Circuit open?
I have the solution to your w221 problems. Most common problem is Misfiring or open injector circuit on 1,5,6,7,8 if you do have this problem i know the solution to it.

Something got messed up, usual suspect is a bad MAF sensor but your pics show a MAP sensor, I didn’t think modern non turbo cars used them any more.

Misfire
i am facing this issue since last 2 days, error popped up when connected to computer stating 7th cylinder open circuit and misfire detected. Got ignition coils inter changed between no. 6 and 7 but it came back after I drove a few miles. Got 7th cylinder misfire error again, got spark plug changed and it went away. But later at night when I tried starting the car, it didn’t start up on the first try. Car seemed to try starting up but failed and all lights on cluster lit up. Would really appreciate a help

Also, if you have had misfires with the car shakes and foul smell after you have replaced sparks then the ones that are in the misfire range have probably turned black. So once you figure out the problem then you should clean those spark plugs. O2 sensor saying ”not ready” even occasionally is on its way out and can cause this issue you are experiencing.

MY 07 S550 is misfiring three coils but after changing spark plugs and coils nothing happens. It idles perfectly for 5-10 mins but when driving it shakes bad and cuts off. What do I do?

This is what my misfire on 5,6,7,8 looked and sounded like.
was a collapsed catalytic failed converter.
confirmed by removing an O2 sensor and noticing less back pressure.
It was a replaced catalytic converter that resolved it 100%

Move coils from affected cylinders to 5 & 8. Move spark plugs to 3 & 6. Does misfire follow coils? Plugs? If so you know what to do.
