2010 S550 4matic 320K...what should I sell it for?
Options-wise, it has rear seat entertainment and front splitview, electric rear seats, 4-zone climate control, panoramic roof, rear seat entertainment, rear sunshades, 20-spoke S600 wheels, factory splash guards, rear desk.
We've replaced the transmission with a warrantied Silver Star rebuilt unit (Jan 2016). Other recent repairs include:
- Radiator and hoses
- Alternator
- All Engine accessory pulleys
- A/C compressor
- A/C condenser
- Air springs and compressor
- Front and Rear blower motors
- Starter
- U-joints & center bearing (+servicing front & rear drive-lines)
- Wheel bearings
- Windshield
- Motor & transmission Mounts
It's had religious preventative maintenance (Mobil-1 0W-40 oil & OEM filter change and tire rotation every 10K, various filter & fluid changes, plug changes, brakes, suspension components (i.e. ball joints), etc.)
Surprisingly, this car has been a iron man in our fleet. We get much less total miles out of American-built Lincolns and Cadillacs, and they cost a lot more in repairs/breakdowns. This Mercedes has never broken down on the side of the road and left us. Hope the W222 is as strong.
Looks and drives great - no issues. Cosmetically very presentable...no dings or dents, a few scratches here and there. Tire are Pirelli Cinturato P7 A/S Plus (Grand Touring) with at least 7/32nds (installed 30K miles ago). Few can believe it has the miles it does.
Anyway, just curious for some (positive/constructive) feedback on what you think I should retail it for? (Dealership offered $7K.)

And good luck if you decide to follow the advice of parting out the car. That sounds like a lot of fun to do with all of your spare time.

the nearest i am seeing is an 100k in "below" condition that went for $20k.
i would say at 320k miles i would take whatever the dealer gives me. car will prolly fetch $10k at auction. your motor at 300k miles is close to imminent top end failure. $$$$$.

I listed it on Craigslist for $10K on a Thursday night in late February. On Friday morning I had 12 emails. By Saturday I had at least 12 more. I replied to all that the car would be available for inspection Sunday morning from 9 A.M. until sold.
I got a call at 5 PM from a guy insisting that he wanted to come inspect the car Saturday night and was coming from Queens, NY (200-miles away). He showed-up at 11:15 PM, looked over the car, drove it around the block, and paid cash.
Essentially, I had people fighting over it. In hindsight, I suppose I could've listed it for a higher price, but I wanted it sold before March 1 when the registrstion and insurance renewed.

Nice!!! I never would of thought that you would of gotten that price for those miles.
I just got an 2007 S550 with 57k for $11,250. It needs a little work but not to much. Bought it in TX and drove it home to IL.
Good luck on the new car, post pictures when you get a chance.

Supper Stoked to have an S550, what a sweet ride... I just got out of an 03 STS and the wife has an LS430 which is a nice car. This car blows them away.
Pics of the ride to be posted soon. Busy doing all sort of maintenance items and a few fixes. Getting ready to do the trans flush and service. A little nervous with this procedure, but almost have everything ready to go.
