it doesnt cover shocks and hoses (specifically mentioned) and acumulators (wear item)... thus the only thing covered is the cheapest part- the tandem pump in particular there is one hose that when it goes (and it often does) it requires big and major pieces of the car to be moved or removed altogether
Isn't it usually the vacuum hoses and lines that fail the most often on the ABC system....not the actual struts themselves? BTW, before I purchased coverage, I called the warranty company and they said that the struts on the ABC cars would be covered, but Airmatic shocks would not be covered.

When I was contemplating my warranty I googled a lot for variants of my warranty company name appearing in forums - that's where I found people talking frankly about their experiences.
At that point, it's your analysis, your decision based on the feedback you find.
I understand ALX's point but I don't agree with his reading. But, reasonable people can differ in opinion. You could also call the warranty company and ask.
I'll just say - my warranty company has paid out like $9 or $11k in one year, and that has included NOTHING major or that compromised the drive ability of the car. I wouldn't worry about an ABC repair, I'd worry about the 6 other small things that will niggle at you every year...

A total of three companies (out of 14) said they would cover my car. Only the first one offered bumper to bumper with some exclusions. The two others had three pages of what they would cover. I kind of like the read of the first one.
And I love this car!

Okay, I am an extended warranty owner. I did the bumper to bumper one.
For those following, the stereo/video headphones is just that. Headphones.
I keep finding great things about this car.
I bought a 80.00 Bovee WMA3000A BT adapter for the AMI/MDI interface. I now have Spotify!
The automatic high beams are a nice touch and of course.. Distronic!

If you hadn't blocked me I'd tell you that is a nice f'ing car. Remember, the difference between owning an S in warranty and owning one out is the difference between dating a stripper and marrying a stripper.
You're dating a very hot stripper.

Thanks man!
The B&O stereo is kind of sucky. I mean it is very accurate and it does not offend in a horrible way. But, in comparison to the Bose system in my 2005 S55.. It really is a step backwards. It is hard for me to like anything Bose but the system in the S55 really is the best stock stereo I have ever heard. I am friends with one of the best sub builders in the US (https://www.facebook.com/Nolte-Audio-140347919366735/)
he might be able to do something easy to add some SQ bass.

I miss the Mark Levinson system in my old Lexus LS's. By far the best music reproduction I've ever heard in a stock car system. It did not offer the "thumpy" bass that Bose has been known for, but you could hear every instrument in a piece of music with extreme clarity. Highs. mids, and lows were spot on. The HK seems to be too focused on mids with those being set artificially high, thus drowning out the natural highs and lows....where most music really shines. The HK system is best set up for talk radio.

Yeah, that about sums up the HK. The Bose in the 220 wasn't a thumper at all, just very clean, natural and balanced. Everything sounded rich and detailed. It wasn't great for rock, not a lot of *****, but jazz and classical sounded amazing.

With that I do concur. This is why the Mark Levinson system that is installed in Lexus cars is so sweet to people who value true reproduction of music. But probably despised by people who love rap music (if you can call it music).

You are right.. It is not sucky at all. It's just not near as nice as my S55.
I'm sure it can be fixed with some nice SQ subs.
I have been an audiophile for thirty years and I am very quick to judge.

What do you mean by that? Those normally have a maximum total mileage and number of years limit. For example, a 3 yr or 36k mileage limit. Many come with a 1k or 30 days before you can file any claims.

bose has always been the boom boom tzzzt tzzzt company of commercial bass and treble boosted sound while b&o had some very decent true to reproduction capable products in the past... thats all i am saying. both companies are utter garbage nowadays, with b&o's pricing putting them on a whole different level of garbage lol

Bose has always been more about marketing than sound.
I have been a guest at many a high end audio shows. You are quiet right, ears are different between people. I have listened to many 50-100k systems that I wish I hadn't!
