COMAND unit burnt out????

Posted above is the complete diagnostic system readout from my car done by a dealership here in Germany. Unit was removed from the car and sent to a repair shop who stated that the unit was so fried that it could not be repaired. The dealership told me the only fix for this was to replace the COMAND unit. I have a full video explaining all of this, but I'm trying to figure out how to load it here to the site.

you had a weak battery condition recorded by the overhead console module (less than 9 volts). overhead console reporting such a low voltage is indication of forgotten reading light on (the system will not timeout those so they stay on forever). 9 volts essentially means the center console drained the battery. did you have to jump the car at any point? no? did you give the car to anybody to drive and they jumped it without telling you? "event stored" means the event took place, but is not currently presented. there is also a timestamp for reference purposes.
i believe undervoltage to be one of the main culprits of blown electronics - especially the head unit. i have seen this many times.
interestingly enough your command unit is not quite dead as it still responds with a message about the unplugged display. i assume display is plugged anyway. however, if a qualified shop is stating that command is fried beyond repair- what is your question here?

watched the video. did the car show up from the shipper in that state? if it did- somebody spent some time in your car with the reading light on and drained the battery which resulted in burned head unit. if this was the case i would reach out to the shipper and ask him to help you.
what do you mean by "headunit trying to start"? is there any (clunking) sound? they do have a hard drive, but i forgot when they went from mechanical to ssd... the red light means it is getting power- nothing more

It does a have a hard drive, and by trying to start I mean, you can literally hear and feel the unit resetting. Sounds like a computer tower powering up. With every reset the screen backlight comes on. They described the unit as DEAD with the boards being fried. If that's the case, how is it getting power?? Could the TeleAid be the culprit? Had this issue before when 2 DEALERSHIPS told me the exact same thing and a new battery fixed everything smh.

i understand. trying to start sounds encouraging, but it really doesnt mean the unit is "little" or "completely" broken. you cant make that conclusion. the unit has several boards inside and if the power board is good it doesnt mean that the main cpu board is alive. or the display board. if the unit was making a clunking noise that means the hard disk is dead/ not initializing and starting and as such nothing would boot any further. a hard disk can be cloned/ replaced. but anything else is "who knows". hence my comment about the qualified shop statement.
what you can do is hook up the car to a charger, let it charge over night and try to turn on command.
if it doesnt start i would look for a head unit on ebay or other source and have an independent shop code it to the car. would be far cheaper than installing a new one at the dealer.

Would a unit from a 07-08 work in my 2011?
