Actually, the Bentley was almost $40k more expensive back in 2007. And beside a freshening in 2013, the new Flying Spur is still essentially the same car it was in 2005, even from a technology standpoint. And the their tech in 2005 was at least 5 years behind the times for a high end luxury car at the time.
The 2017 FS still has less technology than Benz offered in the 2007 S600. There is absolutely no way that any company will offer any kind of exclusionary warranty on a 2007 Bentley, no matter how low the miles or condition it's in. That car would bury you alive on repair costs. Repairs on those cars make our cars seem like Honda's.

Just my opinion, but I think that body flying spur doesn't look much better than a chrysler 300. It looks skinny and wimpy in a 4 door. The GT is a different story. Now, the newer flying spur, new body came out in 2013, gorgeous.
I guess what I'm trying to say is a 2007 S65 kills that car.

To me, the 2014+ Flying Spur only looks like a face-lift of the 2005 model with revised tail lights & headlights. The interiors in the new ones still look very similar to what they had in 2005. The only reason to get a Bentley is for exclusivity. But they'll absolutely murder your checkbook outside of warranty.
