Spark Plug Module
btw, usually diagnosing the coil controller is not easy as there are no error codes that point to it consistently. the only codes you will see are misfire codes and some ionic voltage inconsistencies but those can be plugs, coils or controller and are replaced in that order until problem is fixed.
The coil packs are quite well sealed, and in any case oil isn't bad for electronics.......

The guy who rebuilt my voltage transformer said they often fail due to moisture getting inside, but not coil packs. I assume you're talking about coil packs not the transformer, so like the other said, unlikely that it got damaged from the oil.
Oil/ water/ whatever fluid tends to ground things. It is not the getting inside part but the grounding the coil pack at the wrong places to the motor. Add a few thousand volts capable of jumping short air gaps and you find electricity where there should be none ....
