knocking sound
I have a 2007 s550, after sitting awhile some hours when a drive it I can hear and feel a knocking sound in the right front wheel area. After driven for a few minutes or miles it goes away and back to normal (quiet). until the next time a drive it.

does it do it at idle or only when going down the road? is it 4-matic? does it do it when engine hot?

could be many things

It only does it while driving and it is not and engine noise at all, in wheel area.

Sounds like a worn bushing or ball joint.
