Upgrading headlights and tails on a pre facelift
Hey guys a friend of mine just bought a 221 and was wondering what all is involved in upgrading the head and tail lights? Any help would be appreciated!

He can pick up the facelifted (aftermarket) taillights on Ebay for around $350 for the pair. They are plug and play, easy to install, and look great. Most are DOT certified.
As for the headlights, if the car does not have Nightvision, he can find aftermarket face lift models on Ebay for around $1000 or so for the pair that are also plug and play. Installation is a bit of a PITA from what I understand. If his car has Nightvision, then he is likely SOL if he wants to retain that feature.
