Mid City Engineering. It will be their own unit.....and somewhat costly, unless you live in the Chicagoland area and can have them install and program their own unit. It is impossible to find all of the original OEM parts necessary to install a Benz unit.
It "may" have been an option on the later build 2007's, but it wasn't until the 2008 MY that you'd start to see them showing up in the cars fairly regularly. Not even my S600 had it.
Most 2007’s don’t have the iPod integration kit / aux. My 2007 S550 didn’t have aux either. Seeing that I rely on Spotify for all my music, that was a no go for me. So my uncle and I installed an auxiliary input ourselves using a $12 adapter from eBay, coding, and basic mechanical/electrical knowledge. I used one of these pictured below (not sure if exact model, but I tried to find one with a good looking 3.5mm plug.) We took the white connector sleeve thing off and took the pins directly and inserted them into the corresponding ports in the wiring harness that attaches to the rear of the headunit. We then took a dremel and cut the plastic piece that holds the door covering the DVD changer. I did it just enough to garner clearence for the aux cable to run through the bottom. The vinyl piece that covers the bottom has enough of a gap to run it through. Aux works as normal and total cost is under $200.
Regardless the car probably needs to be coded at a dealer or Indy using the STAR computer. It cost me about $180 to have it done. It will tell the car that it has an auxiliary input (when you click audio, AUX will now show in the drop down.)
I just added the iPod integration kit plus Tune2Air. I got the iPod integration kit with all of the cables(I got lucky) and it was plug an play. I did have to enable the AUX using Star which I have, total cost for me $184.

wow you got lucky. I haven’t been able to find an iPod Integration kit with the cables. I wanna find one eventually so I can get the Tune2Air and use Bluetooth.
