Maybe the same store i had? KJ-Navi 012 store? He said the same thing to me, in there screen i can choose ntg 4.0 and up.
Tried it again today and no contact to the car. It says Acc off, and when i switch the radio on with the button in the centre console the screen becomes black.
Today i will try it again and look ift there is power on the acc wire. With their system its a pink wire next to the LVDS connector.
I tried it, did not work, replyed back to the vendor and waiting.

The same store. KJ-Navi store. Today he wanted a video of how I set NTG to 4.0_800 and then what the screen shows. It shows "no signal"... guess I'm throwing this junk in the trash.
So I tried setting mine to NTG 4.0 and no change. Everything looks exactly the same. Even waited a few hours and checked again. Looked exactly the same and everything worked.
@ zoltann Same here, i send him a video today and am waiting the response from him.
I bought it there because there are several reviews of american customers who have installed it.... I dont know what you paid for it but here it's 500 euros so i am gone return it or complain at Aliexpress....
To me it looks if the LVDS box doesn't work, especially after i read that Johnksss tried it on NTG4 and it works....
The other strange thing is that i keep getting acc off, that should mean that there is no power on 1 of the wires of the new screen....

I have tried several screen options but none of them make a difference. But after you telling that the command in your car also works with NTG 4 it should work here also.
I don't know how the original unit switches on, is it done by the Can bus system or a wire, i don't know.

Maybe they changed something in version 12 as holding the back button is suppose to switch from comand to android and vice versa. And when I change to 3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5 half screen the screen changes the screen output for comand, but still shows up.
Is your dash fully back together?
And you plugged in all the ac controls....
When I first tested it I had the two connectors pluged into the screen and the main harness plugged into comand via the pass through harness. This allowed me to power on the system and see comand and android were actually working.

It doesn't show acc off for me. Visually, everything works except the original Benz screen. I haven't gotten to the sound yet. It plays music and videos, but there is no sound. Maybe it's just some setting. But I can't get to the more complex settings even with some codes. Buttons they do not respond to anything on the central tunnel, except for the Navi button and the command wheel. The phone, radio, massage do not work.

I have 2 connectors in the screen, 1 trough the pass trough harness the other 1 goes trough the lvds box to the screen. But it doesn't react to the command.

The fiberoptics question was more of a curiosity thing.
I'm at a loss at the moment....
I am waiting what the vendor is gone do. Because there are no schematics there is little you can do with these things if they don't work. I also saw yesterday that it's disturbing the Can in the car. When i build it back to normal i had multiple Can problems and i had to disconnect the batterie for them to recover.
So i think there is something wrong in the harness they supplied.
