W221 Trunk won't open with remote key or with latch on trunk or switch inside
Hi,
I have a new, to me, 2007 S550. It is immaculate and had 12,699 miles on it when I bought it last week. The only problem with the car is that the trunk will not open using the key fob, the latch on the trunk, or the inside remote switch on the driver's side door panel. I checked all of the fuses listed on the fuse diagram, and the only way for me to open the trunk is with the manual method using the blade in the key. Any ideas? Thanks!

Are you by chance leaving the lock beside the license plate in the position where it "L" shaped blade is oriented in the direction of the vehicle, or are you removing it with it going left to right - the same direction as your license plate (where it needs to be for those features to work).
