All dynamic seats stopped working - the pump?

hi, in my 2007 S600 all 4 dynamic seats/massage stopped working at the same time. Any adjustment to any value of any cushion returns back to 0.

Error 9200 Driver's Module Carrier for the Backrest is Defective (I'm guessing it's part number 221-910-22-75 )

I clear the error, does not come back. I try to inflate the individual cushions/bladders with the Star - none inflates, message "Failed for unknown reasons". All the bladders in all seats give the same results (Star connects to all seats).
I've also updated the s/w in the driver seat (often s/w is buggy in 2007 like not remembering the lumbar support and newer versions fix multiple problems), no change.

I try to connect to the pump - Star fails to connect (multiple times). So I'm guessing the pump module in the trunk is bad. But all soft closing of the doors and central power locking is working - my understanding is that the pump is shared between the seats and the door locks? So the pump must be working in some way. Also, the Star does not show any pump errors!

I'm thinking the 9200 error is not the main problem, maybe the pump is. What to test/how to move from here if ALL seats don't work? How to definitely determine if the pump is good or bad?

thanks

The soft close doors and locks are electric in the W221, not vacuum like in the W220.

I just replaced the seat pump in my S550 for the same reason. Any seat adjustment just reverted back to 0. I checked the fuse for the seat pump and it was blown. I replaced it and as soon as I tried to adjust the seat the fuse blew again. Pump was toast. I got one from a 38k mike CL550 and replaced it in an hour and that fixed my problem.

Thanks Benz Boy! Glad to learn that the doors are electric, I've ordered a replacement pump and hopefully this will fix the problem, thanks!

Actually multiple 2007-2009 seat pumps on ebay are incorrectly listed as "seats and doors" - the sellers must be drawing incorrect conclusions based on earlier w220 models

I just found out that the seat pump in my S550 is toast. They want $550.00 installed. Is that a good price?

Shop compatible part #s to get a handle on part cost.
