S600 Complete Interior Swap 2007 to 2010
That is quite an undertaking!
One question - since you have removed the headliner and exposed the panoramic roof, you should be able to see one section I have a question about-
The moving panel of the pano glass has two guides in the rear that slide along some rails. The glass it attached to a bracket on each side with two Torx bolts, and the guide is slid into the rail. A friend told me it was possible (
) if the pano glass was all the way back, that if one unbolted the glass from the guide, the guides could slide out of the rail they are normally in if slid toward the rear of the car. Apparently the rails do not have a cap on the end of the them so the guide the glass is mounted to could slide out of the rail. He asked if there would be any way you could post a photo of the what the back of those rails look like, to see if the guide can be placed back into the rail, because as of right now, it could almost be removed from the top of tilted the correct way, and can drop much lower than it should be able to.My friend would like to not drop the entire headliner if possible

Thanks for your informative post and look forward to seeing the progress and the final outcome of it.
