Selling my rebuilt 2008 Renntech S600
Selling my rebuilt title 2008 Mercedes S600. Car is Renntech tuned with 625HP/745TQ. Recently I installed NEW OEM AMG wheels and tires($3,000), rebuilt coil packs($1500), valve cover gaskets, power steering pump accumulator, transmission mount, fresh oil change, new transmission conductor plate, transmission fluid flush. Had Renntech tune the car ($2500). Has a couple minor remaining issues.Tint shop tinted my windshield and their fluid seemed to cause the leather on the dash to lift. I am including a MINT used nappa leather dash. Parking sensors not working, sunroof motor needs replacing and motor mounts needs replacing. Otherwise SOLID! $11,995 OBO?

Really like that interior! Does it have DistronicPlus? The grill does not have the usual cover for it

this car does have the night vision, but I do not know why the parking sensors dont work. i thought these cars used radar sensors that are mounted behind the bumper?

Depends on the weather
I think prefacelift that is right. I wonder if it's not connected somewhere when the bumper was changed. I can't remember when I did the facelift on my first one. I also wonder if not having the correct grill with the distronic black cover in the lower 3 fins integrated is causing any issues.

With the V12 twin turbo, you can get even more horsepower by getting the upgraded intercooler pump, it's also a Bosch part, and costs around $200 and probably adds another 30 HP. With 625 you probably don't need any more though. Then, if you do a resonator delete you can get another 20 HP but lose a little low end torque. These are AMAZING cars!!!!!!!

W221 S600 (2007 at least) has the parking sensors hidden behind the bumper, no holes or anything. It's cool!

FCPeuro has the Bosch 0 392 022 010 which is the higher flow water pump upgrade and it way less that $1400 RennTech is asking for it. I would use RennTech for their ECU upgrade but Wow, FCPeuro sells the water pump for about $132.00 and that includes a gallon of genuine Mercedes Benz anti freeze. I would almost think the RennTech people made a typographical error and added one digit to the price! CRAZY. Oh, well. Part Number of the pump is (BOSCH) 0 392 022 010, the 010 is the seventh generation, higher flow pump. Sorry, I had thought everyone with these cars already knew this.
Had the "010" pump on my SL600 three years and it makes a noticeable difference. As if 625HP wasn't enough!!! LOL
They are basically plug and play.

Seems like you don't necessarily want to flow the max amount possible. At least if you're not updating other coolers, etc. Otherwise you are moving the fluid do fast it doesn't spend enough time in the heat exchanger

Quite easy. It's located kind of under the passenger headlight, under the car. There's at least one youtube video showing how it's done. Yeah, I was thinking, I wonder if there are tests somewhere showing the difference in the actual effective cooling /HP increase between the Bosch 010 pump, and the Renntech. I've heard the 010 has about twice the flow of the original version. I can't imagine a large enough HP increase of the Renntech pump to warrant that cost. It's just a little pump, after all. Seems to me they may be cashing in on their reputation from their ECU tunes which is quite good. There can be such a thing as too much flow. Basically, for ECU you have the choice of either Renntech or Kleeman. The Kleeman people are very honest and trustworthy, I found out by sending them my ECU for a tune and they reported back that "It's already been done by Renntech." They said, if we do anything to this thing, you probably wouldn't notice much difference because from what we can tell, you should already have at least 625HP without any other mods". So they sent it back to me along with my check! I was impressed with their honesty. They could have just formatted the thing, programmed it with their software and kept me check.

On Friday, I'm inspecting a 2007 S600 that I "won" on ebay on Saturday. Ebay rules give you 7 days to back out, so if it turns out to be a lemon, I might contact you. That car is in Lakeland, FL. How far is that from you?

Not sure why my thread got hijacked but the car is still for sale. $9500 and I am including many parts to go along with it that can be used later down the line.
Parts included will be rotors and pads all the way around. 4 front control arms. One of the radar parking sensors. New AC blower motor.

A beautiful looking car and if not that I already have a 2007 S600 (which I intend to keep) and knowing the S600 I would jump in and bought it right away! It's amazing that such amazing supercars are so cheap now (they are not cheap to maintain, but manageable for a DIY with a clue) . Good luck!
