Turn key no sound

Both must be up to voltage to operate properly.
Sounds like the trunk battery is good. Check the engine battery next.
about a month ago my car made the same strange sound as if it didn't have enough juice so I turn the key back and then turned it again and it fired right up.
also I had someone use a jumper wire at the starter relay see if the starter will turn over and there was no sound

Pull the panel starting at the sides or bottom to access the battery.
The starter could be bad, but you need to confirm it has power to it, and connections are good, plus run all the checks, before replacing it.
To be honest, it will be best to run a Star Diagnostics Scan (SDS) to properly determine where to find the problem.
As kbob999 said, it would be beneficial to know the year of your W221 S-Class to help understand what may be going on. As I understand it, the 2007-2008 W221 has a battery located in the engine compartment and another in the trunk. The 2009-2013 W221 has a battery in the engine compartment and another in the dashboard.
You mention that you have replaced the starter and the battery, but you have not specified which battery you replaced. If I assume you have a 2007-2008 W221 and have replaced the battery located in the trunk—that would explain why your vehicle is not cranking, although the lights work. The trunk battery is designated as the on-board electrical system battery and only supplies the car's electrical consumers—the battery in the engine compartment supplies the starter and alternator cable.
If I correctly understood your situation, you will need to replace the starter battery. It is a 12-volt, 35 AH, group 49 battery, and the OEM part number is A 230 541 00 01. Otherwise, we will need more information about your vehicle to understand what is going on.

It may also be necessary to inspect fuses, relays, and connections at the battery terminals.

So in this situation, the starter is grounded to the transmission, which is grounded by a cable. that cable was broken. you have all the symptoms .... i hope you find a solution

The transmission ground wire location is near the transmission mount. If you can, drive the car up onto ramps, remove the underside protection shield below the transmission, and peer above the transmission cross-brace—where the transmission mount sits. The transmission ground wire fastens between a bolt and the mount on the driver-side. The opposite end of the wire is affixed to the frame nearby, as the wire itself is less than a foot long.
I've included an image to help you understand, but please know that the image provided depicts a base W221. However, since you have a 4MATIC variant, the mount will look different.
