I will only use NSK or SKF Japanese bearings. Everything else is junk. Pull old bearings, verify the bearing number on the dust shield, order wherever.
SKF is a Swedish bearing.

German *** is also a good one.

Update!!!!

I tore the pump apart

I ordered the bushings but wanted to experiment with just greasing the current ones cause there was no play in them just a bit tight

used green heavy duty Lucas

I just put it back in and fired it up for first time in over 24hrs and absolutely ZERO noise!!! The buzzing whine at cold start is gone!

100% quiet!!!

Nice! Easy fix. I used to buy those 608 bearings all the time when I was younger for my roller blades and skateboards. The bearings I bought had removable dust shields and were serviceable. Just pull the shields, clean the bearing of dirt and sand with Brakleen, oil them up, put em back together and keep rollin.

You gonna keep the new air pump when it arrives or send it back?

FYI, FCP Euro has a lifetime replacement program on all their parts, even consumables like brake pads, rotors, air filters, oil filters plugs, etc.. Don't know how they do it, but it's true. Everything except things like fluids.

I already reached out to customer service and let them know I知 returning. I just spent $3000 with them this week on the coils and plugs so they were more than happy to assist. Lol

And yeah, I知 aware of the lifetime warranty which is why I got the coils and plugs from them. Also, when I flushed the ABC system a couple months ago I got the Pentosin, flush tool and upgraded filter from them.

I値l triple check, but I do believe the lifetime warranty program extends to fluids. I was told that when I flush the ABC system again, all I need to do is buy the new fluids and filter from them, then send them the old fluid and filter and they refund the money paid on the replacement order.

We値l see how that works and I値l definitely spread the word if it really works that way.

But definitely sending the air pump back! I知 going to make a post to figure out how much money this amazing forum has saved me!

I bet with everyone the savings are easily in the millions of $$$ for sure!
