Is there a Bluetooth for iPod plug that shuts off with ignition?

1) Would prefer aptX with high-res audio (BT5 or whatever) rather than basic A2DP from 10 years ago which does have a quality loss
2) Want something that actually shuts off with the car. Read numerous complaints about it staying on and stealing the BT signal from your phone. That sounds janky. Not looking to add a battery drain, either. I'm sure these cars need no help with that.
3) Want something that isn't glitchy and requires me to reestablish the connection 50% of the time. Maybe this is phone dependent, too.
The Bovee I think fails #1 and #2. I found one on Amazon that claimed to offer a modern BT chip but according to the reviews, still fails #2.
My preference actually would be to simply use the iPod connection to establish an analog aux-in and use a different BT module which I know works well, which is this one:
Brand new to the car but have done some searching and trying to find a high quality aux-in solution for music that isn't going to annoy me one way or the other. Thanks.
aptx is not the BT iteration, its a protocol for the software to follow - the viseeo only supports SBC - not aptx or AAC
they will let go usually after 7 minutes on the w221, the bovee doesn't make your battery go flat
to expect after market to run on a 221 without glitches is a huge ask - the purpose of the viseeo WMA1000 is its ability to integrate with the merc's ipod kit to give its functionality but with buetooth as well

Overall this is a win. Surprised no one is running this unit. I'll report back if everything goes sideways.

Turns on when the engine is running.
Turns off when the engine is off
Gives good sound quality
I have a unit that is plugged in to my aux port BUT you have to manually press the button to turn it on every time you get in the car (pretty annoying). It turns off by itself.

It does have a mode switch on the unit that the directions say is iPod mode or general mode. I don't know which is default but I left it. It is possible it is in iPod mode and maybe that's why the track info works. But again I thought this only worked with Apple products, not Android. It could also be handset-specific with Android. I have an LG V30.

It also made me think....I don't even know how to get to the battery yet if it needs a jump or something. Put that on the list....
