I would really like to know, how the interior of those vehicles look like. I wouldn't be surprised if the vehicle had something to BMW's IDrive. It seems as if everybody is taking that idea and putting it into their vehicles. Vehicles, I've seen that have them include:
2005 Acura RL
2004 Audi A8L
2006 Lexus GS430
A few other vehicles, that I can't recall from top of my head. Either way, MB follows through again, by producing another beautiful vehicle.

Looks huge! 
Hmm i can see a little simile between the cars on the pictures and the current SL, the design on the rear lights ( i can see a tendency on the same lines, the S got steeper lines than the SL though).
Heard rumours that the new S was a MayBack "lookalike", i would not say that but in profile the back lights are quite alike.

very good new s pictures from the rear (especially, the center silver one.)
s has a "raised" trunk like bmw 7er's. (Mr. Bangle is very happy.)

There is a huge MB plant near my home in Carson where I see all kinds of CLS' driving in and out of. I'm sure they've got to have on of these w221's there too. The place is well secured but when the gates open you'll see thousands and thousands of new MB's just waiting to go out to the dealerships.
