check going rate of individual parts on ebay
the likelihood someone needs all the bits you have, alongside the exact same trim is going to be very rare - and can you afford to offer a robust warranty ?
you seem to have access to a phenomenal number of exotic spares - so either linked to a high end breakers yard or you know people that obtain cars.... ?

Hi - yes I've checking out at eBay, but it's only single parts, not a complete set. Bang and Olufsen never break down, I still have the first stereo and loudspeakers bought in the middle of the '80, so no guarantee 😁. I have very very good contacts in the car insurance business in the European Union, high end car's. I've just been offered a facelifted LWB S63 AMG with a big rollover damage - the car has absolutely everything offered back then in 2012, that's why 😊

the last cars (as u mention its a 2012) do seem to have moved on from the not very reliable system they had 2006 to 2011
It also looks like USA always got the big amp - whereas Europe had the option of the small one or the large amp - I wonder how hard it would be to move over to the one you have - any idea if the wiring connections where the same ? or did it come with total rewiring - might have - they had steering assist in the last Distronic plus 221's, so maybe be dev mules for the 222

I'm pretty happy with the Bang and Olufsen sound system in my car - bloody fantastic sound and very powerful 1400 Watt. I'm in no way into the technical aspects of the wiring harness in our fantastic car's - so I'm not a huge help in this topic. Originally Posted by BOTUS

Yes, I know, older thread… Here is the thingy.
i have a 2011 sold new in Sweden. It has the B & O system, but with one hick up.
Sound in all four corners. Able to fade and balance left to right, able to change stations, but no bass and no tweeters/lighting front and rear.
amp is still at a electronics specialist (25+ years) and he states that he could not find a single thing wrong with it. Even the small fan inside the amp works.
Not fried or anything.
No signs of estetik the boot, no wires touched or butchered.
So now one question:
Could this be as simple as a software update that was missed after for example a new car battery.?
It doesn’t have the original battery anymore.

Just as simple as it is crazy.
i got the amp/sound processor back from a specialist in electronics repair.
He could not find anything wrong with it. Fan works as it should and a number of other things he checked were just fine.
Sprayed some electronics ”coolant spray” on all connectors except the one for the Most ring (small fibre optic connector), put it all back in. Started the car and without even pushing a button, all tweeters lit up and bass came back.
Must be haunted, this one. 😂
